Needin' Some Input Please!

OK Friends, I need your help. I am puttin' this out there at the risk of sounding very vain and stuff, but I really need your opinion, so I am taking a risk...
I have been looking at pictures a LOT lately - some old and some new (like the ones in yesterdays post). I just recently got my hair done, including a new color. I loooooovvvvveeee the cut but am not so sure about the color. This is where you, my bloggy buddies, come in.

Looking at all of the pictures we just took, I think that I look old. And I think that it may be the new color. That and the fact that I need to lose a bit of weight. So, I am going to show you some pictures and you tell me what you think.

Here we go:

These are from our wedding and honeymoon 5 years ago. I was MUCH thinner and obviously 5 years younger...

This is two years ago at Hattie's adoption. Still much thinner but not quite as young...

This is one year ago, I was about as heavy as I am now and almost as old ...

Just this past Christmas. Same size, same age, different color...

And, one week ago. This weight, this hair and this messy kitchen. (Remember, you aren't judging the kitchen!)

So, there ya go - what do ya think?

6 of ya left some love:

I'm a fellow Siesta visiting your blog and I just love it! And, while I'm a brand new acquaintance, I will just add that I actually like the lighter color on you!

Aron & I both agree we really like your new cute & style; you are beautiful!
After looking through all of the picts, we both concurred this one is our favorite:
The one of you & steve in the trees - with the dark brown/red hair.
None of them make you look older...at least I don't think.
Hope this helps!
love,
erica

I think you're right. It's the hair color. My mother in law once died her hair blonde (from dark brown) and it aged her at least fifteen years! I think you look better in the darker colors of browns.

Your wedding dress was GORGEOUS! :D

Dork- CALL ME NEXT TIME! You know I'll tell you the absolute truth! I could have saved you the post. Wedding color- and you know Paula would agree! It's hair, we can change it.
Definitely, definitely darker red. I don't remember that color but you can still put some blonde in it then color over the blonde for low-lights.
I finally am going the dark auburn color now. I am loving it. I can't believe I ever thought I looked good with so many blonde highlights. I looked totally washed out! Ok- going to read the rest of your blog but I had to help ya out with the hair issue first! =)

Oh- and I still like it a bit longer too. I know it's a pain to fix but it was stinkin cute!
The End.
